What I collectWhen you book a call or contact me: your name, email address, time zone, and anything you choose to write in the booking form or your message.
When you become a client: the materials you share with me, such as your résumé, LinkedIn profile, job descriptions you're targeting, and notes about your career history and goals. I also keep my own session notes and the written summaries I send you.
When you pay: billing details needed to issue an invoice. Payment card information is handled by Stripe and never stored by me.
When you browse the site: basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics . See "Cookies and analytics" below.
I only collect what I need to provide the service. Please don't send me information about your health, immigration status or other sensitive topics unless it's directly relevant to your career question.
Why I use it- to schedule and hold our calls and sessions;
- to review your materials and prepare recommendations;
- to send you summaries, follow-ups and invoices;
- to answer your questions;
- to understand how the website is used and improve it.
I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for any purpose other than the ones above without asking you first.
Who else handles itI use a small number of trusted services to run the practice. They process information only to provide their service to me:
- Cal.com — booking and scheduling;
- Google Workspace / Google Meet / Zoom — email, video calls and document storage;
- Tilda — website hosting;
- Stripe — payments;
- Google Analytics — website statistics.
Some of these providers store data outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. When information is transferred outside Quebec, I check that it will receive adequate protection. Information stored in another country may be accessible to authorities there under local law.
How long I keep it- Booking details for calls that didn't lead to working together: up to 12 months.
- Client materials and session notes: for 2 years after our last session, so I can support you if you come back, then deleted.
- Invoices and accounting records: as long as tax law requires (currently up to 6 years in Canada).
You can ask me to delete your information earlier, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.
How I protect itI keep information in password-protected accounts with two-factor authentication, limit access to myself, and don't share client materials with anyone without your permission.
