These terms apply when you book and pay for a career coaching service from Tatiana Tsyganova, a career coach based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (hello@tatianatsyganova.com). By paying for a service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 to book.

1. Services

I provide career coaching: résumé and LinkedIn review, career strategy, interview coaching and the Career Transition Program (Search Sprint and Strategy to Offer). What each service includes, how long it takes and its price are described on its page at the time you book. Prices are in Canadian dollars. I'm not currently registered for GST/QST, so no sales tax is charged.

Coaching is not legal, immigration, tax, financial or mental health advice.

I'm not a recruiter or an employment agency. I don't place you in jobs, send your résumé to employers on your behalf or check your right to work in another country.

2. No guarantee of outcome

I share what I know from 20 years on the hiring side, but I can't guarantee interviews, offers, a specific role or salary. Results depend on the market, employers and the actions you take. Client stories on my website and in my materials show what's possible; they're not a promise of your result.

3. How it works

3.1 You choose a time and pay when booking.
3.2 You receive a confirmation email and a link to a short intake form.
3.3 Please send your materials at least 48 hours before the session. If they arrive later, I'll work with what I have.
3.4 Sessions take place online via Zoom or Google Meet.
3.5 Written summaries are sent within the time stated on the service page.

Your part. Please give me accurate information about your experience. Before you use anything I prepare, check the dates, titles, company names and achievements in it: I work from what you tell me and don't verify it. Decisions about applications, negotiations, resigning and relocating are yours.

4. Rescheduling and cancellation

- You can reschedule once at no cost with at least 48 hours' notice.
- You can cancel at any time before the session. I refund the price minus the value of work already done (for example, if I've already reviewed your materials).
- If you miss the session without notice, it counts as delivered, and I'll still send any written materials prepared for it.
- If I need to cancel, you can choose a new time or a full refund.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Programs. Search Sprint and Strategy to Offer can be paid in full or in instalments if the program page says so. Instalments are a way to pay, not a monthly subscription: you're buying the whole program. If you stop partway, the price of the part already delivered is calculated in proportion to the weeks elapsed. If you've paid more than that, I refund the difference; remaining instalments beyond that amount aren't charged.

5. Confidentiality

What you share with me stays between us, except where disclosure is required by law. Sessions are not recorded unless we both agree.

I may use anonymized examples from our work — with no name, employer or other detail that could identify you — on my website and social channels. You can ask me not to, at any time, by emailing hello@tatianatsyganova.com. I publish a testimonial with your name only with your permission.

6. Materials

Written recommendations, templates and reviews I prepare are for your personal job search. Please don't publish, resell or share them commercially.

7. Ending our work

I may stop working with you if you're abusive or threatening, ask me to include information you know is false, or dispute a payment with your bank without contacting me first. In that case I refund the price of any part of the service not yet delivered.

8. Things outside our control

If a session can't happen because of illness, a platform outage or similar events, we'll find a new time. If that isn't possible within a reasonable time, I refund the price of the part not delivered.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without taking away any protection you have under the consumer laws of your own province, state or country.

11. Changes

I may update these terms. The version in effect when you pay applies to your booking.

12. If part of these terms doesn't apply

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
